Kamau Njoroge is the youth agricultural coordinator at Bold Impact Africa. He has 5 years’ experience in agroecology and climate-smart agricultural empowerment and a MSc. In animal Science and management.
Through Bold Impact Africa, Kamau has developed programs that promote climate-smart agriculture, agroforestry and agroecology among youth to build a sustainable food system and create decent employment opportunities. His work focuses on youth-friendly capacity-building initiatives and policy advocacy, empowering more than 2,500 young people and building a network of over 1,000 young farmers across Kenya.
Through his work at BIA, Kamau was appointed to serve as the National Youth Representative of the Kenya National Farmers’ Federation (KENAFF), where he advocates for and lobbies on behalf of young farmers to ensure their interests are represented in agricultural policies and decision-making.
