Agroforestry initiative at state house girls high school Nairobi

On Saturday, 24th May 2025 Bold Impact Africa in partnership with Wingfarm, Project Shambani, Project 8K , Wazalendo Movement Africa, The Green Embassy Kenya, Smallholder Africa, Kenya Agricultural Students Association, and with the support of MAS Intimates – Linea Clothing and Jomo Kenyatta University Agriculture and Technology, successfully planted 500 fruit trees at State House Girls High School in Nairobi.
The event brought together over 54 youths and 60 high school students, all driven by a shared vision: to make Kenya’s cities more sustainable, food-secure, and green.
This initiative marked the beginning of a youth-led revolution #254greencityinitiative whose main objective is to promote climate resilience and enhance food security by converting underutilized urban spaces into green, sustainable food hubs.
The young leaders pledged to stop working in silos and work collectively to build climate-resilient, livable cities.
