Bold Impact Africa’s director, Mr. Simon Nyaga, participated in the graduation and award ceremony of Nivishe Foundation cohort 2 mental health fellowship fellows held on 29th July 2023 at Aga Khan University.
Nivishe Foundation and partners have heavily invested in the mental wellbeing of communities and the mental health fellowship is key to reducing stigma and promote awareness, enhance early detection and intervention while building a resilient and productive society.
The graduation saw an army of mental health champions graduate and ready to participate in programs, research and advocacy in Kenya and beyond and contribute to mental health security and wellbeing of individuals and communities. Such a timely mental health fellowship is essential for nurturing expertise, fostering innovations and enhancing the overall quality of mental health care. We firmly believe that such a program plays a vital role in shaping the future of mental health services and research, ultimately benefiting individuals and communities worldwide.
